First off, the screen size of the iPad is 9.7″… so if they can’t even go to the lengths to get the only piece of information about the iPad correct, they don’t have an understanding of the product whatsoever. Apple spent a lot of time and effort on the design and style of the iPad and this “Protective Carrying Case” rips all of that away in a split second. I know it’s common for a company on Amazon to sell one product under many different listings to fit different products and hopefully trick a few people into buying a “custom case” for their new toy, but this one is just ridiculous.

I found this bag to be a pretty good buy. Its not overyly stylish but I was much more concerned about functionality which this does well at. Its a generous size and pretty durable.

If you’re looking to haul your iPad around in style, then navigate away from this page. This “portable” tacklebox-looking bag is HUGE. It’s very pricey and isn’t really a carrying case at all: it’s a bag. A very large bag.
I’m surprised they didn’t put wheels on this hulking mass so you could drag it around.

This case is not made specifically for iPad. It fits it really well though… I actually made a cardboard cut-out iPad to check and make sure since my 16gb Wifi iPad won’t be here for another couple weeks… I see where they were going with this bag. I agree with the reviewer below.. definitely not made for iPad specific.. I could actually fit my netbook in here if I wanted to…
From what I understand, the iPad is the same size as a netbook.. the dimensions are crazy similar.. my ASUS Eee netbook and iPad have same dimensions.. APPLE is very smart to do this..I assume many netbook cases you buy will also fit the iPad.
Why I like it:
Fit – It’s crazy how dead on the dimensions are for the iPad.. but then again my netbook fits just the same
Very durable – foam padding on the case and pockets is good.
Lots of room for accessories – 3 pockets and an adjustable foam padded wall on the inside
Carrying – either carry by shoulder strap or handle
I feel like this is a good bag to take the iPad with me to school, or to the beach, or on the airplane, or for a long car ride. You can fit the iPad, have really good protection, and you can fit other accessories too… like maybe some headphones, wallet, keys, a snack
It’s really a nice design, and even though not made SPECIFICALLY for iPad, I’m sure it’ll do the job just fine… hahaha I will take my iPad everywhere so I need strong bag
